History of the temple

Baba statue. At the entrance, there is a book stall and a shop that sells the puja articles. In the mandir first floor, there is Satsang hall and Dhyana Mandiram (meditation hall). In the second floor, there is a library. There is also a room for the palanquin.The mandir foundation stone is laid on Oct 14, 1956. It can be stated that this is the first mandir in Nellore district. In the year 1958 on Vijayadasmi day, Baba statue was brought from Jaipur and installed. The marble statue of Baba in this mandir resembles Baba when he was 40 years old. Everyone believes that the mandir is their own. In the year 1992 the temple was renovated with modern facilities. Similarly the Parayana hall, Satsang hall and the Dhyana mandiram(meditation hall) were built in two spacious floors. One can do parayana here. Baba's life history books that are rare and precious are available. From Vijayadasami of the year 2000, the satsang is contucted in the satsang hall by Sri Padmaya every Thursday from 7pm to 8pm. At the end prathadarshanam, Sai Baba Namam and Sai Raham Nazar Karnaa arati songs are sung. For all the festival days and New Year the mandir is decorated beautifully and special programs are held.
