Shri Saicharan Temple

Shri Saicharan Temple in Danipali, Budharaja, Sambalpur, grew out of an initiative begun in the mid-1990s under the Shirdi Saibaba Spiritual and Charitable Trust, Sambalpur, on land donated by a local couple, Dr. Artatrana Sarangi and his wife Minati Sarangi. The two-storey temple, supported on 34 pillars and built with soil brought from Shirdi mixed into its foundations, took about five years to complete and was formally consecrated on Ram Navami day in April 2000, which is why it is sometimes referred to locally as the Millennium Temple.
