Shri Shirdi Saibaba Mahamandal

This temple of Shirdi Saibaba built on a spacious 30,000 Sq. Ft area of land is situated opposite to Unkal Railway Station and near Central School at Shirdi Nagar in Hubli Town of Dharwad District of Karnataka. The Temple Bhoomi Pooja was performed on the auspicious day of Ugadi in the year 1988.The Temple was inaugurated on 24th March 1993 by veteran Sai Devotee Sairatna Shri. M.Rangachari in the auspicious presence of Trustees of Shri Shirdi Saibaba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi), President of Sai Spiritual Centre, Bangalore Shri. C.V.Bhaskar Rao and large number of Sai Devotees. Shri. K.R.Gopinath is the founder President of the Temple. The Temple Trust is very efficiently taking care of the day-to-day activities and developmental activies of the Temple. Shri Vivekananda Dhyana Mandir is present in the in the cellar of the Mandir. It was inagurated on 25th March 1993 by The then Chairperson of Shirdi Saibaba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi) Professor Dr. Lekha Pathak. Sacred "OM" has been inscribed on the centre of the Wall in between two Photoraphs of "Saibaba Sitting on Stone" Posture. The Foundation stone for the construction of Shri Saibaba Bhakta Nivas was laid on 25th March 1993 by well known Industrialist and Philanthrophist of Karnataka Shri. R.N.Shetty. A beautiful Marble Idol of Shirdi Saibaba about 5 1/2 feet has been installed in the first floor of the Mandir. Black Stone Idol of Ganesha about 1 1/2 Feet is present on the left side and Marble Idol of Dattatreya about 1 1/2 Feet is present on the right side of Shirdi Saibaba Statue. Black Stone Idol of Hanuman about 2-1/2 Feet is present in a small temple built in the cellar of the Mandir next to the Dhyana Mandir. Dwarakamai is prsent on the left side of the mandir inside the temple premises where the Sacred Dhuni is present. A Life Size photograph of Dwakramai Saibaba is present opposite to the Sacred Dhuni. Gurusthan is present at the entrance under the sacred Neem Tree in the temple premises. A Wooden Palanquin is present in the Mandir and is used on Thursday's for Palanquin Procession. A Spacious Kalyana Mantap and a Dining Hall is present in the space behind the Temple. The Kalyana Mantap is given on nominal rental basis to local people for performing auspicious occasions like Marriages. The Dining Hall is used for performing Annadanam on Thursday's and other festival days.
