The Hindu Temple of Metropolitan Washington

Founded in 1988 as a small home-based place of worship, the Hindu Temple of Metropolitan Washington grew into one of the older Hindu temples in the Washington D.C. area and moved into its current Adelphi, Maryland building in 2007. A dedicated Sai Baba shrine was added that same year, with a Sai Baba murti installed in April 2007, and the temple now holds weekly Sai Baba bhajan and aarti services on Thursday evenings.
