History of the temple

The Shirdi Sai Baba Centre in Singapore is fully functional from Feb 2008 in the 3rd floor function hall, Sri Vadapathira Kaliamman temple. The centre has Baba's Moorthi, numerous pictures, a full-time priest, and Bhajan sessions. The Centre is devoted to celebrating the life & teachings of Shirdi Sai Baba only. The Shirdi Sai Baba Centre is open to persons of any religion, who believe in Shirdi Sai Baba as an agent of God, accept him as their Spiritual Guru and worship him with love and devotion through faith and patience. Shirdi Sai Baba Our obective is to spread Baba's Spiritual teachings to people of all religions. Sai Baba of Shirdi or Shirdi Sai Baba as he is called, was born around 1838 AD.He lived in Shirdi, which is near Mumbai, India. Baba attained Maha Samadhi (the day he decided to leave his mortal body) on 15 October 1918 when he was about eighty years of age. Sai Baba is one of the greatest Sufi saints of our time and the debate on whether he was a Muslim or a Hindu, is unresolved till date – in his time, the devotees were both Hindus and Muslims. Years after his Maha Samadhi, his spirit still guides his devotees, who are now in millions all over the world.
