y to protect my devotees. Sitting in this Dwarakamayi, I will speak only truth and nothing but truth thus spoke Sai Baba of Shirdi.May 3rd 1995 was the day on which the flame - of hopes, desires and penchant for service of Sai devotees of Kannur - was lighted-up. It was on this day, the charitable organization named Shri Shirdi Sai Seva Samaj was registered in the Office of the District Registrar, Thalasseri. The temporal world in which we live now is in a topsy-turvy situation. People are groping in the darkness to find a way out. Is there any way out ? Yes there are ways! Baba's meaningful words and advice illumine our hearts and lead us on spiritual path. Follow Him with "Sradha and Saburi." Baba spoke. "The hands that serve is holier than the lips that pray. Selfless service of society will take you to the kingdom of-God.”Shirdi Sai Seva Samaj is established and function on the principles laid down by Sai Baba. On, May 7th 1999 we could purchase a land for construction of Sai Mandir. On April 19th, 2000 Swamini Apoorvananda Saraswathi of Chinmaya Mission, Kannur laid the foundation stone for the Mandir-On 15th May 2005 ‘Prana Prathista' was conducted and the Mandir was opened by Sri. B.R.Wakchaure, Executive Officer of Sai Baba Mandir, Shirdi. Thousands of devotees are coming for "darsan" from far and near.We celebrate festivals like Ramanavami. Gurupoornima, Mahasamadhi day and Deepavali. The anniversary of "Prana Prathista Day" are celebrated every year.
